I hope this communications finds you in good health after the long hot summer we just experienced. In my last communication, we highlighted the first 6 months of meetings and events held and sponsored by your lodge. We are just as excited about the next several months. So hold on to your aprons and see what your Lodge has done and is presently scheduled to do.

SEPTEMBER 20TH
SPECIAL CALLED MEETING. LODGE WILL BEGIN AT 7:00 P.M.
If found worthy, we will confer the Entered Apprentice degree on Mr. Kaufman, and Mr. Sommer. Brethren, your Lodge has processed approximately 14 petitions since January. It sure would be nice to have you attend our meetings to meet and greet these new masons. It is the Lodge’s responsibility to make masons but ALL OF OUR responsibility maintain their interest.
As of this communication, we had three brothers called from labor. Their names are listed in this communication in a separate area. Two of the three families did not contact our Lodge to provide a Masonic Memorial Service. We found out months later. Why am I addressing this issue at this time?
Just a reminder, as a member of our fraternity, you are eligible to have your Lodge provide a “Masonic Memorial Service”.
However, if your Lodge is not notified until after the fact or when the dues notice is returned, it sends a message to us you may not have informed your family of this important service offered by your Lodge.
Might I suggest you consider the following:
(1) Tell your family you are interested in having your Lodge perform a “Masonic Memorial Service”.
(2) Locate your apron so it can be readily available when requested.
(3) If you cannot locate it, please contact us and we will provide you with another.
(4) Provide your family with the proper contacts from your Lodge.
We hope this reminder will encourage you to add this to your list of “getting your affairs in order”.
On a more positive note, next year Sincerity Lodge will be celebrating it’s 125th year. I have appointed Brother William Rogers, Junior Warden, to assume the Chair of developing a program to celebrate this milestone in Sincerity’s life. So, if you have any records, pictures, information, or other items of interest and are willing to share them, please contact Bro. Rogers. LET’S MAKE THIS A BIG DEAL.
May the Supreme Architect of The Universe Bless and Keep You Till we Meet Again.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Charles A. Beckhardt Jr.
Worshipful Master
